Now is it just me or is it the highest level of greed I have ever come across? Arsenal have been formerly criticised for their tight-handedness in their transfer dealings. But this time around, we have seen a dramatic show of intent from the gunners which goes to say that they are ready and willing to end their trophy drought.
Now what I dont understand is why Liverpoolwil reject an offer for suarez in d excess of £40mil. Is it bcos of d extra £1 which was added. Did they see it as sarcastic because they felt we just wanted to trigger the release clause? Whatever the reason is, it is sure greed to expect a pay of over 40mil pounds (£55mil) for a player like suarez who doesnt want to even play at Anfield any longer.
Anyways the good news about it is that due to the actovation of the clause, Arsenal now have the permission to speak with their man personally. If personal terms are agreed and suarez habds in a transfer request, then he will be all butan arsenal player since liverpool will be forced to sell.
Lets keep our fingers crossed and wait to see who will baulk for the other. Until then, keep the faith Gunners!!!
